About the artist
Bonnie Aparicio is an Artist and Graphic Designer living in West Hartford, CT. After graduating from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford, she started her design career at Group Four Inc., a packaging design firm in Avon, CT. In 2007 Bonnie joined the Creative Marketing team at Prudential Financial in Hartford, CT focusing on campaigns for internal and external audiences, with a specialization in custom designs and brand strategies. Bonnie’s drive to create high quality work while streamlining process efficiencies earned her the title of Senior Designer and Design Manager for the last 6 years she was there.
In April 2020, Bonnie started creating art full time while taking on some design freelance projects and caring for her mother who passed in March 2021. With a clear vision for her art now in place, Bonnie is returning to her Graphic Design roots while still creating art.
Her greatest sources of inspiration for her design and art come from the human experience, current trends, music, dance, light, nature, and traveling. When Bonnie isn’t creating, she fills her time taking adventures with her family and gathering inspiration for her art and design.
