New York City is one of my all time favorite cities to visit, Brooklyn included! This painting was created after a weekend spent there last summer. This scene was from one of the streets I walked on my way to the nearby park. The sun shining through the trees and the dancing shadows it created on the sidewalk caught my attention. I couldn’t wait to paint it when I returned to the studio.
